Description

Repair Aeromed Facility- Building 2215 to include upgrading of the interior and exterior of the building. Removal work will include on the exterior; portions of concrete walks, wood pole, plants and shrubs doors, frames, hardware, windows, and sills, built-up roofing system, fascias, downspouts, curved overhangs, gravel stops, scuppers, concrete splash blocks, and soffits. masonry walls for new foyers, metal wall panels, plywood backing, and furring strips. Removal work on the interior will include; Ceilings and suspension systems, floor, base and wall finished, Interior partitions, fabric sound panels, doors, frames, and hardware, Portions of concrete floor slab, Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, fixtures, and devices, Operable partitions and track and store for reinstallation with new construction, gut existing shower rooms, CMU walls and metal lockers, wood handrail and fire hose cabinet. New work on the exterior will include that the contractor provide new concrete walks, provide new concrete footings and CMU foundation walls, provide new cast stone panels, provide new standing seam metal roof system, provide new windows, doors, frames, and hardware, provide new fascias, gutters, downspouts, soffits, and soffit panels, provide new exterior light fixtures, provide new steel wall panels and metal furring channels, provide new aluminum panels on plywood on metal studs, provide new aluminum fascia panels on metal furring channels, provide new paint on existing soffits. New work on the interior will include new interior partitions, rigid and batt insulations, new acoustical tile ceiling systems, floor and base finishes, and wall finishes, provide new mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, fixtures, and devices. re-install operable partition and track and wood handrail, provide new doors, frames, and hardware, provide new toilet partitions and accessories, provide new reinforced concrete slabs, vapor barriers, and crushed stone, provide new steel beams, columns, joists, and deck, provide new fire alarm system and fire extinguishers, provide new reinforced concrete pedestals and footings. The removal and installation will be in strict accordance with the conditions of the contract. A firm fixed price is contemplated with a period of 360 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. A solicitation will be issued on or about 22 Mar 01. The proposed procurement listed herein is UNRESTRICTED, open to all small and large businesses. Award of a contract from this solicitation will be made on the basis of best value to the Government using past performance/price. Acceptable past performance will be renovation projects to include mechanical, HVAC, electrical and finishes or other similar work performed within the last 3 years. The proposed contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. North American Industry Classification System Code for this procurement is 23332. Any concern responding to this solicitation is considered a small business if the annual records of the concern and its affiliates for the proceeding three fiscal years do not exceed $25.0 million dollars.
