Description

Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for Miscellaneous Concrete Repairs at Fort Leavenworth, KS. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing curbs and gutters, and the construction of new curb and gutters; removal of existing on-grade steps and construction of new on-grade steps; removal of above-grade steps and construction of new above-grade steps; removal of existing concrete slabs of various thickened perimeter and construction of new flat concrete slabs of various thickened perimeter; removal of existing pipe handrail and construction of new pipe handrail; removal of existing curb inlets and construction of new curb inlets complete with embedded parts; removal of existing retaining wall of various heights and construction of new retaining walls of various heights; raising of manhole and valve box using concrete or heavy duty cast metal adjustment rings; construction of new wheelchair ramp at curb and sidewalk complete with required joints, back-filling and sodding; removal of existing concrete dumpster pad and construction of new dumpster pad; construction of new rock sub-base compacted with minor grading. The magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Anticipate award of a firm-fixed price requirements type contract. Ordering period is 365 calendar days from date of award. The acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23411 with a small business size standard of $17 million for three (3) preceding fiscal years. Invitation for Bids (IFB) DABT19-01-B-0003 will be issued on or about 5 July 01 from http://leav-www.army.mil/doc. Bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (www.ccr2000.com) prior to receiving the bid package. All requests for this IFB shall be in writing and reference DABT19-01-B-0003.
