Description

Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for Army Family Housing (AFH) Exterior Paint and Repairs at Fort Leavenworth, KS. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, all specified exterior paint and repairs of fourteen family housing units including remove and replace exterior beams, posts, joists, plates, studs and sills; remove and replace existing with milled lumber, exposed trim, soffit, cornices, fascia, dental work; remove and replace exiting column, "tongue and groove" or box car ceiling, stair stringers, stair riser, stair treads and lattice; remove and replace existing half round gutter, five inch "k" style gutters and plain or corrugated downspouts. The magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Anticipate award of a firm-fixed price requirements type contract. Ordering period is 365 calendar days from date of award. This acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 235210 with a small business size standard of $7 million for three (3) preceding fiscal years. Invitation for Bids (IFB) DABT19-01-B-0005 will be issued on or about 5 July 01 from http://leav-www.army.mil/doc. Bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (www.ccr2000.com) prior to receiving the bid package. All requests for this IFB shall be in writing and reference DABT19-01-B-0005.
