Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to make specified interior and exterior structural modifications, repairs, and apply new interior coatings to four water towers (1 @ 400,000 GL and 3 @ 500,000 GL) on Grand Forks AFB. This work shall include but not limited to making any necessary repairs to the exterior coatings of the towers as a result of damage caused by structural repairs and modifications required to complete project as set forth in strict accordance with plans and specifications of the contract as specified in the technical provisions. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract with a magnitude of $500,000 minimum and 1,000,000 maximum. The performance period will be 153 days. The Government is considering whether or not to set aside this acquisition for HUBZone concerns only. If you are a HUBZone firm interested in this project and reasonably expect to submit a proposal, please respond by e-mail to David.Goff@grandforks.af.mil. Your response must include a positive statement of your remaining bonding capability, list of similar jobs involving major renovations of large water towers completed within the last three years. You must also include references and all contracts now in progress. Your response must be complete and include this information; otherwise the government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected. Your = response is requested by 26 June 2001. If you do not respond by this date, we will assume you are not interested in this project. Depending on responses from HUBZone concerns, this acquisition will either be a HUBZone set-aside or an unrestricted acquisition. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offer eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. We anticipate a proposal due date of 31 July 2001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234910. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database or their proposal will not be considered for award.
