Description

Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, material, and equipment to perform all operations necessary in connection with Protective Coating Services at Davis-Monthan AFB AZ. Work includes: painting interiors and exteriors of Government buildings and other structures; minor repairs to wall surfaces; spot striping and marking of streets, parking lots, and airfield runways, taxiways, and parking ramps; painting fences and fire hydrants; and producing various types and sizes of signs for use base wide. The base period of performance will be October 1, 2001, through September 30, 2002, with four one-year option periods, plus a potential award term of two additional option periods, all of which will be included in the evaluation for award. This solicitation is set aside exclusively for SBA Section 8(a) firms. The applicable NAICS Code for this solicitation is 235990 and the corresponding size standard is $11.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial format Request for Proposals, using Past/Present Performance/Price Tradeoff evaluation procedures. This solicitation will be issued on or about 5 July, 2001, with a tentative site visit scheduled for 13 July 2001.
