Description
Install ventilation system in crawl space and replace kitchen sanitary sewer in Building 446. Work includes installation of a supply fan unit, ductwork, piping and associated structural and electrical work. The NAICS (SIC)is 235110 Mechanical Construction Contractors. The small Business Standard is $11.5 million. This solicitation will be subject to FAR 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HubZone Small Business Concerns. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) package will be available on the Internet. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge. All prospective offerors should register on the NAVFAC Electronic Solicitation Internet Website (www.esol.navfac.navy.mil) for this project by clicking on the Entrance Button to access and then create an account. You may view the site without an account, but will not be able to register for a solicitation unless you establish an account. Enter your company's information, then click on "Submit" and follow the remaining instructions. When the IFB package becomes available, your company will receive an e-mail notification indicating you may download the IFB package from the Internet. The "Issue Date" and "Bid/Due Date" stated in this notice are approximate dates. An official Planholders List will be maintained on-line and can be printed from the web site. The Planholders List will not be faxed. Recording companies and Blueprint companies are also required to register. Per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Be advised, for solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, failure to register in the CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing web site www.ccr2000.com or by referring to DFARS Subpart 204.73.
