- The Association of Old Crows and the Garden State Chapter will sponsor an Intelligence Electronic Warfare (IEW) conference to be held August l5-l6, 200l, at Fort Monmouth, NJ. The theme of the conference will be: "Focus on the Future -- The Impact of IEW on the Transformation." The keynote speaker will be LTG Robert Noonan, US Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence. The Conference Chairman will be Robert Doto, Director, Army Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD), Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM). The Technical Program Chairman will be Charles Christianson, Acting Deputy PEO Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (IEW&S). The conference will include both classified and unclassified sessions, as well as exhibits and a poster session at the Sheraton Hotel in Eatontown. The classified sessions will be at the SECRET, U.S. Only level. The conference will have five sessions. Session One will address the topic of IEW in Transformation and will consist of briefings addressing transformation of the joint force, equipping the transformation and briefings from each of the Services on their transformation activities. These will include Mr. Edward Bair briefing IEW&S Resourcing of the Transformation and a briefing from COL Charles Atkins, Director of Combat Developments, on the US Army Intelligence Center and School Perspective. Session Two Chairman, COL Ronald Nelson, USA, PM CGS/JTT will focus on Intelligence for the Objective Force with briefings from: LTC George Kunkel, USA, PM ACS; LTC Bill Stevenson, USA, PM Prophet; COL Ronald Nelson on DGCS-A and COL Michael Hamilton, USA, PM TUAV. Session Three Chairman Bob Zanzalari, Director, Electronic Combat Division, CECOM, will focus on Survivability for the Objective Force with papers addressing: Survivability Through Information Fusion; Sensor Countermeasures by Mr. Paul Restine, I2WD Electronic Combat Division; Modeling & Simulation for Force Survivability by Mr. Alan Hansen, I2WD Battlefield Awareness & Target Division and Future Command & Control Experiment by LTC Scotty Abbot, Chief, Futures & Simulation Division, Mounted Maneuver Battle Lab. Day Two keynote speaker will be BG Keith Alexander (invited), Commander, Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Session Four A (Classified) will follow chaired by LTC Darrel Davis, USA, Deputy Director, I2WD and will cover Information Operations for the Objective Force. Topics will include: perspectives from the services (TRADOC/AFIWC/NIWA), as well as LIWA and I2WD Initiatives by Mr. David Helm, Chief, I2WD IO Division and a panel focusing on IO Technologies. Session Four B will be chaired by Dr. John Kozinski, I2WD SIGINT Division and will consist of unclassified Poster Papers at the Sheraton Hotel Exhibit Hall. Session Five will be chaired by Mr. Ray Irwin, Night Vision Electronic Sensors Directorate, CECOM, and will address Technology for the Transformation. Papers will address a number of topics focused on the Transformation, to include: FCS-Vanguard of the Objective Force PM FCS (invited); DARPA Technologies, Network Sensors for Transformation by Mr. Mike Jennings, Night Vision Electronic Sensors Directorate; Sensor Communications by Mr. Jay Nemeroff, Space & Terrestrial Communications Directorate; C2 for Transformation by Ms. Maureen Moltz, C2 Directorate and SIGINT for Transformation by Mr. Michael Gruen.
