Description

The Army requires a Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Repairing Roofs at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfiel, Georgia. The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with Repair Roofs, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to the following: (1) Provide and install gypsum decking; (2)Provide and install steel decking; (3) Provide and install rough carpentry; (4)Provide and install finish carpentry; (5) Provide and install roof insulation; (6) Provide and install exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS); (7) Provide and install strip shingles; (8) Provide and install built-up roofing; (9)Provide and install elastomeric roofing (EPDM); (10) Provide and install modified bitumen roofing; (11) Provide and install polyvinyl chloride (PVC) roofing; (12) Provide and install Metal Framing Reroofing System; (13) Provide and install Standing Seam Metal Roof; (14)Provide and install sheet metal work; (15) Provide and install caulking and sealant; (16) Provide and install lath and plaster; (17) Provide and install gypsum wall board; (18) Provide and install acoustical ceiling panels; (19) Provide and install paint; (20) Provide removal of asbestos roofing; (21) Provide and install PVC roofing; and (22) Provide and install electrical conduit and wiring. The SIC Code is 1761. The NAICS Code is 235610 and size standard is $11,500,000.00. The Magnitude of this solicitation is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The performance is to begin within 30 days after receipt of Notice To Proceed with a completion of 365 days. It has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) certified construction firms located within Region IV and other construction firms having a bona fide branch located within the geographical area serviced by SBA within the georgraphical boundried of the relevant competitive area. All other firms are deemed ineligble to submit offers. A definite response time or receipt of bids date has not been established at this time. Bid opening time and date will be established and placed on the solicitaion at time of issue (See Block #10 above). Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available.
