Description

The Air Armament Center intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract, to Foerster Instruments, Inc., 140 Industry Drive, Pittsburgh, PA under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Sub-part 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items and supplemented with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures if no other qualified offer is received. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written request for quotes. RFQ will not be issued. The quote format is at the discretion of the offeror. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-01-T-0059. The requirement is for a Ferex GPS Kit and Sofware. The Ferex DLG GPS Kit, # 4032.9061401, consisting of the following components: 1 each, Ferex DLG GPS Kartograph, English #4.032;1 each Control unit with analog meter, # 4.032.01-1001; Ferex probe CON 650, # 4.031.01.3041; 1 each carrying handle w/contact set, # 4.032.01-2002; 1 each Battery pack, #4.032.01-2001; 4 each D-Cell 1.5V IEC LR20, 4020; 1 each Users Manual, English, # 4.032 UA06/EN; 1 each carrying strap, # 4.032.01-9002; 1 each Case, # 4.032.01-9001; 1 each Start and Stop handgrip, # 4.032.01-9008; 1 each Data Transfer Cable, # 4.031.03-9901, and 1 ea Dataload GPS Software, # 4.031.03-9901; 1 ach Dataline GPS Software, English, # 4.800.01-8029. The item is to be delivered to Apalachicola Street, Bldg 614, Eglin AFB FL 32542. Government personnel will perform technical inspection at destination. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511, with a small business standard size of 500 employees.
