Description

The Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for supplies. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a separate written request for quotation will not be issued. The purchase request/reference number for this announcement is F33DOL12200100, and the detailed description is as follows: A "Two Color" Telescope: 1) Refractive 5x Telescope, 2) Astronomical Telescope, 3) Field of View (FOV, full angle) 4 degrees, 4) Wavelengths 1.06 microns and 1.54 microns, 5) Average Power 2.2 watts, 6) Peak Power 150 kilowatts/centimeter squared, 7) Transmission > (greater than) 70% over field for both wavelengths, 8) Objective diameter 100mm, 9) Magnification 5x, 10) Exit Pupil FOV (unvignetted) 20 degrees (5 x 4 degrees), 11) Eye Relief (scan mirror to exit pupil distance) 40mm, 12) Overall length < (less than) 20 inches, 13) Wavefront distortion < (less than) 1/4 wave RMS at 1.06 microns, 14) Adjustable focus, 15) No vignetting allowed over FOV. Non-recurring Engineering fee is to be priced separately. This requirement is for Small Business (SB) Set-Aside 100%, using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)for this acquisition is 333314; small business size standard: 500 employees. Supplies will be delivered to Eglin AFB on an FOB Destination basis. Please specify delivery date.
