Description

Eglin AFB FL, has a requirement for the dredging of Ben's Lake Channel, Eglin AFB, FL, Okaloosa County, Florida. This acquisition has been set aside as a 100% competitive small business acquisition. NAICS code is 234990 and size standard is $17 million. This project includes furnishing all plant; labor, equipment and materials to dredge Ben's Lake Channel and provide construction and maintenance of spoil containment. In general, work consists of construction and maintenance of spoil containment; accomplishment of environmental controls and the disposal of spoil materials complete. The lump sum contract price shall include the cost of performing the work as shown on the drawing and as specified hereafter. The estimated dollar range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Performance period is 30 days. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the Agency. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials compete in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Quote closing date of 7 January 2002 IS AN ESTIMATED DATE. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, but the Request For Quote (RFQ) will be available on the FedBizOps (www.eps.gov). No response to this notice is necessary, and no source list will be maintained. See Note 26.
