consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials for
the construction work at McChord AFB to install area lighting on
aircraft parking ramp B. Work will consist of removal of existing
lighting poles, installation of new 110_ poles, and retrofit of
existing poles in addition to removal and installation of all
associated wiring, power and control equipment. Total performance
period will not exceed 210 days including required lead time for
materials. The magnitude of this construction project is between
$250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation will be issued under full and
open competition procedures on or about June 13, 2000. The proposal
due date will be on or about July 14, 2000. The applicable SIC is 1731.

statement for firm; and a positive statement that your firm intends to
submit a proposal on this acquisition. Based on response, the
contracting officer will make a determination if there is not a
reasonable expectation of adequate competition, the acquisition will be
